George Cadbury, Bournville Carillon, and George Cadbury Junior bronze plaque in Birmingham
The first bells were given to the village by George Cadbury in 1906.
And the rest were given in his memory by his wife and son, George,
including 15 bells given by his son in 1923.
George Cadbury (19 September 1839 – 24 October 1922) was the third son of John Cadbury, a Quaker who founded Cadbury's cocoa and chocolate company.
