William George Spencer Cavendish, 6th Duke of Devonshire KG, PC (21 May 1790 – 18 January 1858), styled Marquess of Hartington until 1811, was a British peer, courtier and Whig politician. Known as the "Bachelor Duke", he was Lord Chamberlain of the Household between 1827 and 1828 and again between 1830 and 1834.

Alexander William George Duff, 1st Duke of Fife KG KT GCVO PC VD (10 November 1849 – 29 January 1912), styled Viscount Macduff between 1857 and 1879 and known as The Earl Fife between 1879 and 1889, was a British peer who married Princess Louise, the third child and eldest daughter of Edward VII and Alexandra of Denmark.
